John P. Kruse is from Mankato, MN. He learned to paint by reading books and learning from others, but most importantly by observing nature and trying to duplicate it. "I've always had a love for the natural world, particularly birds." giclee giclee John has been an avid bird watcher since his early days when his grandfather, who managed a wildlife refuge, would take him out and show him the different kinds of wildlife. "It really taught me how to be very observant. And the more I observe the more I want to make an attempt at creating at least the image of something so grand."
